Jerusalem Marlins was founded in 2022 by Coach Fadi Awisat, following his inspiring visit to the Budapest  championships. This experience sparked the idea to create a sports team in Jerusalem that combines water polo, swimming, and aquatic sports, aiming to develop young talent and promote a strong sports culture in the community.
This initiative is part of the National Aquatic Sports Federation’s comprehensive plan, which seeks to support sports across cities and towns, promote water polo, swimming, and aquatic sports among youth, and cultivate a new generation of talented athletes nationwide.
Since our launch, we have focused on providing professional training, organizing exciting events and tournaments, and building a vibrant sports community, where every training session and challenge becomes an opportunity for growth, and friendships are formed both in and out of the pool.
